Want to make the most of your meal kits? Save your extra spices and dried herbs.
Store them in airtight containers in a cool, dark, dry place, such as a drawer or cabinet. (Hot tip: use your empty plastic jars from previous kits to save your extra spices.) If you’re feeling extra savvy, mark the containers with the date you received them.
Spices and dried herbs don’t spoil, but eventually they lose some of their flavor. For the best flavor, we recommend replacing ground spices and dried herbs after 1 year and whole spices after 2 years.
