Store extra spices and dried herbs in an airtight container in a cool, dark, dry place, such as a drawer or cabinet. We recommend using your empty plastic jars from previous kits to save your extra spices and mark them with the date you received them.
Spices and dried herbs do not spoil, but eventually they lose some of their flavor. For the best flavor, we recommend replacing ground spices and dried herbs after 1 year and whole spices after 2 years.
